ART IS HEALING
When life gets uncomfortable, TRANSFORMATION begins!
Collection of self-expression through the expressive arts
Creating a connection between the inner and outer self
Photography, poems, self-portraits, inspired moments of clarity
Hello, my name is Everlee, and I'm a portrait photographer and student pursuing licensure as a mental health counselor in Orlando, Florida. Because art had such a good influence on me during my many difficult times, I chose to return to school to learn how to assist others on their healing journeys. One of the many ways of healing is through Expressive Arts, which is how your soul communicates. My purpose is to help others discover their voice by exploring the depths of oneself. The portfolio below shows how I express myself.
Abstract Painting, Poetry & Photography, how I heal.
In the midst of discovery of self; twisted with my existence
Floating aimlessly in the abyss, devoured by mental multination
Darkness, please forsake me
Signs from above, guided by light; the veil lifted for me to see
The love and beauty from within
Creativity release the bondage, and now I can FINALLY be F R E E!
Transformation begins..
- A creatives journey to oneness
Creativity, the door to
happiness or madness
joy or despair
absolute or relative
the pardoxical truth
only the universe knows
searching for self, meaning, purpose
All is mental
liberation is freedom
trapped in the mind
I think I'll pick up my camera and go outside......
A buzzing sound, light, happy, and free. A smile, filled with love no care in the world. Flower kissed by the sun. Kids playing, the sound of the ocean, rain showers on a hot day, the melody of music, your touch. Moments come, moments go.....
Whenever feeling lost…..
